Even surrounded by loving family, friends and a job we love, sometimes we are still cornered. I still feel the loneliness of bad news that wrings fear from my very being and stirs sadness that fills my days. I still feel the loss of what may not be and a different future that may wait ahead. And yet, and still, in moments of calm, with God, my journal and my husband, my family and friends, I find myself unwinding, opening up, looking forward, and finding hope. Even knowing not what tomorrow brings, I can see being Uncornered.
