When the coronavirus hit, I was afraid for my children. Suddenly, they stopped going to school, and I didn’t know if I’d be out of a job. That’s when the panic set in. Then, I realized my true work is to serve as a Parent Partner at the South Boston Neighborhood House – The Ollie – where I am able to help other parents like me. Just like the doctors and nurses, we put ourselves on the frontline to make sure that no family is left behind. Knowing that my work and my team at The Ollie is essential is what Uncornered me.
